Exodus 20:13 “You shall not murder.” “殺してはならない。” The Sixth Commandment prohibits all forms of unlawful killing. Some people, failing to consider the full teaching of the Bible, believe that it prohibits all killing. However, it does not prohibit eating meat, the death penalty, self defense, or military service. It does prohibit murder, and it even prohibits hatred, which gives birth to murder. It makes us remember Christ, who died so that murderers like us could go free.

Exodus 20:12 Part 3
Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.あなたの父と母を敬え。これは、あなたの神、主が賜わる地で、あなたが長く生きるためである。
The fifth commandment affects the way that we act towards people in authority. It shows us that we should respect and obey our parents and other people whom God has put over us. Yet, it also shows us that there is a kind of respect that we should show towards all human beings. It does not matter where someone was born, how much money they have, or what social group they are a part of, we should show them respect. This Christian attitude forbids all prejudice and favoritism.

8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates.11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
