The church is the “Bride” of Christ, before the the groom returns for His bride, the bride is being prepared by the Holy Spirit to be pleasing and presentable to the Lord Jesus Christ, it is by God’s power and by God’s sovereign grace that this is made possible. But to those who come into repentance, to believe that the Lord Jesus is savior; a miraculous work has happened and will continue to happen in their lives – they seek to please the Lord in all that they do. Believers are renewed they are a new creation.
